If you've ever tried sourcing split pressure solar water heaters for the European market, you know the frustration: flashy catalogs from trading companies, factories that vanish after payment, and "CE certified" labels that turn out to be self-declared. So who actually makes good ones?
The truth is, quality starts long before assembly. Last winter, a Dutch installer called us after his third supplier failed winter testing-tanks cracked at -10°C. We sent him samples, but more importantly, we invited him to our Wuxi workshop. He spent two days watching how we weld tank seams (double-layer TIG welding, not spot welding), how we pressure-test every unit at 1.5x working pressure, and how we match glycol mixtures to specific climate zones. He placed an order that afternoon. Six months later, he emailed: "All 28 systems running smoothly through Dutch winter. No callbacks."
That's the difference between making and crafting.
At DELAN, we don't just assemble parts-we engineer for real conditions. Our tanks use 316L stainless steel for coastal installations (not 304 painted to look premium). The heat exchangers are copper-nickel alloy, not aluminum that corrodes in hard water. And yes, we hold genuine CE certification under EN 12975-not a PDF bought online.
But here's what matters more: we've installed systems in Bergen (Norway), Valencia (Spain), and Warsaw (Poland). Each location taught us something-Bergen needed extra antifreeze concentration, Valencia required UV-resistant wiring, Warsaw demanded faster recovery after cloudy days. We adjusted. That's why our German clients now specify "DELAN-type" in their tenders.
You'll find cheaper options. You'll find bigger brands with glossy brochures. But when a hotel manager in Lyon calls at 7 AM because guests have no hot water, he doesn't care about your marketing-he cares whether your technician answers WhatsApp within 30 minutes. (Ours does.)
Quality isn't a spec sheet. It's the system still working when temperatures drop unexpectedly. It's the installer who recommends you without being asked. It's the quiet confidence that comes from 11 years of making, testing, and improving-without shortcuts.
